Gatsu:  Yep, I wacked it, pulled out the HD, called Tech support (same thing...Unplug, take out HD, etc, ,etc.,)  

Soup:  As to the Born on date...Got it from Amazon, end of January, it was drop shipped directly from MS, so probably about mid-January, I'll check and post later.  Got the extended warranty from MS, So, I'm good until '10, but It REALLY sucks that the only repair center is in Texas.  Can't they authorize service centers like every other electronics company?  JEEZE!  2 to 3 weeks turnaround?  COME ON MS!  You're KILLING ME HERE!

Ouch. This is painful to me because my 360 has recently started making an incredible amount of ruckus when it's running and I fear the red lights are getting closer. I have heard it's still possible to buy the extended warranty, is that true? No I didn't purchase it at the time I bought the system. Yes, I am an idiot.

Yes you can extend the warranty...Did you register it? Should have gotten a letter about extending. If not, call them ASAP! You can extend in the first year from what I have heard. My born on date was 11-25-06…. Must have gotten the Tryptophan hangover model! I may be joking, but I am still REALLY PISSED!
