Going to Best Buy

This is like a field trip for me. I avoid those consumer electronics shops most of the time, but today I have to go pick up a few gifts. I hope to see some demo units, PS3, Wii, whatever. I haven't put either into my grubby little hands yet, and love the 360, but the technophile in me wants some exposure. And not the kind of exposure that gets Baine arrested. While I am there, I may just pick myself up a little something. Not sure what though, and this compulsive purchasing is why I typically don’t go.

Oh well. The last thing I really wanted was the wireless headset. (Doc mocked me for that) the critics say that the controller is wireless, why do you need to get rid of the two foot wire from the controller to your head. I don’t, and I could live with it. But I want to. I have many times disconnected the headset while playing. In fact, if I stand up and put my hand down, I pull the damn thing off my head. If the phone rings and I put down my controller, I often forget the headset and things go flying.

Do I need it? Nope. I do like it though. But there is a downside. It doesn’t sound as good, and I apparently have giant ears. After wearing the thing for a few hours it’s not that comfortable. Overall though I am happy with it.
