Usually, those conversations are short at work, because there aren't many who even want to talk about it. Here comes the Pathological Liar. He doesn't have these new systems. So he's jealous. He shouldn't be jealous, because they're just games. First he explained how my PS2 had a power button on the back, a reset and eject on the front. I made the mistake of saying the power button on the front can make the system sleep.
Then it was all about how many controllers he's broken out of rage. I said, "how about not throwing them?" as a constructive criticism. Deaf ears.
Then it was all about playing the Wii. "I played it at Best Buy," he said, "I swung it around by the strap." That's how people get hurt, I said. "Mortal Kombat is sweet on the Wii," he said, "you get to do the moves with your hands." I gave up correcting him, but there is no Mortal Kombat on Wii as of yet.
Why do people think that lying is a valuable social skill? Not only is it not a skill, but a major flaw. You see, he's transparently lying, so he's not even good at it. Nobody's impressed by the lies, man.
