In a RPG, I call spots in the plot, where you must level-up in order to defeat Strong Creature X, Dead Spots. Enchanted Arms had a really huge dead spot right at the end. The presumed last encounter was so many levels harder than the 2nd-to-last encounter, that I had to go fight the good fight in the strongest dungeon I could stand for hours. At least there is a side-quest not mentioned in the plot that made levelling easier.
Enchanted Arms was kind of trite, but in a good way. I mean, the plot followed the typical collect-all-so-the-evil-badguy-can-take-them-all-at-once plot. Luckily, the Princess was not in another castle. She joins you, instead!
And finally, as a side note on the PS3. Every game for PS2 that I've tried looks identical to the original. I think just some games have the graphics problem. Not only that, I have a composite TV, so it may just be impossible to tell. I just played Disney Golf for PS2 on it, and the disk-load time is significantly faster. So much so, it made it fun to play.
