I was in BB buying some Wii stuff (classic controller, memory card, game cube controller, GC memory card) and I noticed they only had 1 360 core, no Wii, No PSP, no PS3s so I find the guy in the section and ask.. so when you getting in some Wiis?

Moron - no idea.. March I think..
Me - March? doubt it, check please
Moron - no its March
Me - So what about PS3
Moron - March
Me - Ill find a manager and ask
Moron - Fine

so I find el, moron manager

Me - So when will you get some PS3s?
Moron  Manager - Not until summer, Sony isnt producing them in large quantities anymore.
Me - 360 fan huh
Moron Manger - I dont play games


And people wonder why I prefer to buy online... but at least I still know the gene pool is getting its mouth breather supply of DNA

I agree with you. I've always been pretty much a dumbass but when I speak to some of these people in these chain stores, I keep getting smarter and smarter.

Or distributors are saying March as well. Now, it may be before then, but they won't say they'll have stable shipment until March. For now, we hope just to get a call from them saying our allotment of 24 has arrived. No call... put in the order in November...

Kotaku got a leak from a BestBuy employee that said each store will be getting at least 15 Wii's for sale on Sunday. If you really want one that may be the way to go. As for the PS3, I've seen one or two at my local Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, just sitting around.

I have a Wii coming and own a PS3. I was just curious because I had been to around 11 stores and they were all sold out across the board, beyond the odd 360 sitting around, but even they were mostly sold out.

I've only met one person in my life at a Best Buy that both knew what was going on and was willing to do a little bit of legwork to help me out. A couple Sundays ago, I went to a BB because they had Fight Night Round 3 for $29 in their Sunday ad. I can't find any, so I ask a blue shirt. "Did you try looking under F?" he asks. I felt like saying, "Do I look like a retard? Do I look like I wipe my ass with a rake? Of course I looked under F!"
