My Laptop woes

When I started my game dev business I bought my self a very good gaming laptop, and couple weeks ago the power supply went. So I shipped it off to the manufacturer and have been waiting for it. Well a lap top came back today, not mine.. because my hard drive which needs a biometric reader to access the files via the laptop doesnt work when the laptop they send back doesnt have a biometric reader on it.

So I call them, waste more time and the biometric reader is no longer offered on the laptop so they sent me a new one, but my hard drive sitting here needs it.. and all I get from them is well..... we have to elevate your problem please hold.. I listen to crap musak and 10 minutes later I am disconnected.

Seriously on the verge of tears of frustration, my school work 2 months work GONE (I have print outs and older backups), my work stuff (gone but only should take a week to redo), my writing (2 - 3 full days to get it back).. stuck on a hard drive..

Never trusting a bio reader again.. it was a good idea at the time because my laptop I travel everywhere with and now I am just thinking of never leaving the house with one again. Become a hermit and watch porn.
