Shared on Thu, 02/01/2007 - 21:22Played the GRAW 2 demo last night, and I was pumped up! I've seen a lot of comments about it with varying opinions, but I liked it a lot, personally. The graphics were definitely improved, and maybe the AI isn't finished yet, but I did like the fact that the enemies didn't "notice" the UAV as quickly as before. The other thing is that I'm assuming the demo defaulted to "easy" difficulty, so it's hard to judge much. Also, the movement of the aiming was a lot smoother IMO. The first game seemed a little touchy on the right analog stick to me, but this demo had some smoother motion and better camera movement. I liked the first game quite a bit, so I'm looking forward to getting round 2. The only things I wouild like to see in GRAW2 is a VASTLY improved multi-player, unlocking the lower level achievements if you beat a level on higher difficulties (a la Gears of War), and better controls. IF they can deliver that, then I think GRAW2 will be a hit!
Anyone paying $60 to play the Halo3 beta?? I know that's the big topic of debate...so I downloaded the Crackdown demo to see if I would even like that game. If I like the game, I may buy it, but I'm not going to buy it just for the Halo3 beta. I'm sure by now that the "Rule of 3" openings for the beta are filled, since the hardcore guys would have been on getting their 3 hours of Halo2 in starting right at midnight last night. And with only 13,333 openings, that won't take long to fill. In any case, I would love to be a part of the beta, but I will likely be one of the many who will simply have to wait for the full game in November.
