Long weekend

Well, I'm certain everyone here was watching Super Bowl XLI last Sunday like me. It was a good game, but you got the feeling that the Colts were never going to lose that game with Rex Grossman under center for Chicago. Anyway, the real story for me was my wife who never gets sick was sick for the first time in forever. And like the good husband that I try to be, I decided to stay home and take care of her.

Now you must understand that we have been installing a laminate floor in our other house to put on the market, but it is a two person job for people who are practically novices. My staying home rather than going there to fix up the floor drew her ire last night. She put it as though I don't pull my weight in the home when it comes to repair. I know this to not be true by the many improvements I've put into the house since we moved in last year.

There are other issues that I won't go into that are making me feel like this is not working out for either of us. I often think this during the day, but have never brought it up to another living soul until now. Is this wrong of me to think or is it just normal for a guy that is starting his third year of wedlock?

A fun little aside is that I have contracted whatever she had this weekend so I may be laid up from the office for at least a day or two...Good time party fun.
