Thinking of Archon made me search high and low for Battle Chess. LOVED that game.. especially the hacked Apple II version I had with questionable content like when the Knight took the Queen he raped her, Pawn takes Queen she would fall down and spread her legs (similar to what happens in the game, but this had monochrome nudity!!) lol

It still boggles my mind why Microsoft does not have the most popular board game in the western world on XBLA..

Oh ya battle chess rocked. The outcome of the fights were set though. That's what made Archon awesome, just because someone moved to your square didn't mean you were going to get taken necessarily.

I loved battlechess It ruled all other chess games cause it made playing chess fun to watch!

That movie is a newer battlechest. If I look hard I can find my CGA/EGA floppy...
