My wife was diagnosed with it last November. It was a relief to know what was wrong with her, but it has been a hell of a rollercoaster ride ever sense. She started out on 1 medication and they slowly up her dose over time, that med was not working out, so they changed her meds two weeks ago, cooled turkey. What a ride we have been on ever sense. While we are waiting for the new medication to build up in her system, the depression is back full force, suicidal thoughts and outbursts of rage. Watching some one you love go through that kind of emotional pain is heart wrenching. We both fear for her wellbeing. Thankfully I have a great employer who is letting me take as much time off right now as I need.
