I finished up with Prey. It goes back to Blockbuster tomorrow. I can't think of anything really fast and easy to raise my gamerscore for that MS/OldSpice challenge, so I guess I won't need a replacement game. Of course, I don't need a replacement rental game now that I have Crackdown.
So, I started Crackdown tonight. After coming off Prey, this a drastic change. As everyone has written already, the game is very open. Chase after the bad guys, work on your skills, terrorize the civies, or whatever – it is all up to you and what you want to do.
My advise is pretty much this – improve your skills then go after the bad guys. Your character starts out with barely the ability to shoot straight, drive straight, run, jump, or even breath correctly (sort of like President Bush). If it feels like you're putting an smg magazine worth of bullets into each gang member, is it because you are. Improve your weapons skills and your aim will improve (in the meantime use the shotty).
Anyone still reading may notice that I've changed the blog banner. As something fun to do, how about listing the eight album covers shown in the banner. Some are fairly, or blatantly, obvious, but a couple could be tricky. Use the comments, dear readers.
