We are powerless over War Craft because once we play just a little (even just checking mail) it triggers an uncontrollable physical craving, we must play more, we must get to the next level, finish the quest or find that rare drop.
The unmanageability of our lives comes from the mental obsession. When we are not playing, we are thinking about next time we will be playing. We have a mind that constantly tells us, "This time it will be different", "I will only check mail" or the popular "I will only play for 1 hour, that’s it, no more". So the mind tells us it will be ok and once we log in the uncontrollable craving takes over and we no longer are in control of how much we play.
It is the great obsession of all WoW addicts to be able to one-day game as others game.
