Fat Baby found my candy bar I was hiding and little princess saved it for me. I decided to eat it right away so that it wouldnt get eaten by a kid. I opened it right there in the office, (because candy eaten in the closet or bathroom just doesn't taste right) in front of princess and Fatty and didnt share at all. Both of them were screaming on the floor because they didn't get a bite. Im so cold hearted I didnt even feel bad about it.
there goes mom of the year award.

(BTW they had just had suckers a half hour before, so dont feel too bad for them)

Calling the kid "fatty" probably isn't helping earn that award either. :)

Too funny. It is funny how eating under dubious circumstances like that can add to the enjoyment of it.

LOL - YES! Must protect the "adult" candy from the kids at all costs! That is why I always pick out the Snickers and Butterfingers from my kids halloween bags. They just aren't old enough to appreciate them yet. :D

ROFL, that's the last time LittlePrincess does you any favors girl!!! shhh, Big0ne, if you don't tell them, no one will know!!!! I know what you mean Lady, ufortunately that since of entitlement doesn't go away when they get older either. I remember the first time the kids grabbed a package off the counter at grandma's house. Even though it was their candy, they got in BIG trouble. She was like "What are you doing, no one gave that to you". I decided right there I had let the kids take way too much advantage of me and started working on 'What's Mine is not Yours' behaviors. Good thing your starting early :)

He has been fat baby since he was a new born. He was a month early (to the day) and still weighed 7+ lbs and was 13 lbs by his due date and was 18 lbs by 4 months. To those that dont have kids. Most one year olds weigh 20 lbs. He has been "fatty Mcfatterson" for ages. While he doesnt look it, he is still in the 80th percentile for his weight. The kid is built like a German tank. lol he takes after his mom's side of the family. :D

Holy cow...Fat Baby was bigger at birth than any of our 3 full-term kids. My wife just lucked out I guess (tho' I wouldn't DARE mention that to her ;). As for the candy situation, I am a firm believer that kids need to see that we are king or queen of the roost, and we are fully capable of torturing the citizens of our realm in vicious, vicious ways. Nothing wrong with teaching them possession does not necessarily equate to ownership. Good object lesson and sorely needed in this over indulgent world. Good move!
