Squirrly

MY dogs been barking at the fence for hours, I even seen him trying dig under it and even bite through it!   Which is wierd for him, I think i could put up a picture of a fence and he wouldnt cross it. I went looking and didnt see what he was barking at and shruged it off..   A few hours later the kids are playing outside when the little one busts in!  We found a baby, we found a baby HURY HURRY!!!!!   So i put my boots on and go outside i see them huddled around a little baby squirrly and it was freaked out and seemed to be trapped in a brush pile..

So i put my hand down and he runs into it and lays down, he's no bigger than my hand, his little heart a pumping!!!  So i did  what any good Dad would Do!! I chucked him as far as I could!!!!!!  He must not be the Flying Kind.........J/k of course.

So I calm him down and he starts crawling all over me but always back to my hand for a pet....not knowing what to do the wife came out and we petted him and tryed putting him back in the acorn tree in front where we have lots of squirllys. Little bugger would go up the tree alittle bit and scurry back down to me and right into my hand!!!  So i put him back on the tree again and he would go a little farther up and then back to me, in my hand. He did this about 4 or 5 times. Each time I put him the Tree I would move farther away... finally he scurried all around the tree playing with acorns and evenutally found him a little hole where he felt safe. He ran out and in a few times as if to tell me he'd be ok.  So we all went back into the house. I figure nature will find a way.....If if stays in his hole he should be good till mornign when all the other squirllys scurry about in their morning nut hunt and he will find them and fall in line. Hope he stays hidden all night so the Owls and cats dont get him......everyone hope my little squirlly makes it till morning!!!  

  Before you think I,m too soft, seems the Wife and kids are corned in the bedroom by a spider! So I,m off to grab my assault rifle and do some spider-Killing
