Hello Everyone,

Over a long period of time, I’ve accumulated numerous resources for the research and writing that I do. I hope that I’ve encouraged many of you to seek out more information on the topics that I’ve been writing about. There’s a lot of information readily available on the internet but not all of it is what I refer to as Native-friendly. Many websites also slant to present information for a certain cause or interpret American Indian culture to their benefit.
I can only hope then, that if you’re interested in this culture that you seek out websites that are produced and supported by Native Americans. Below are a list of web links that are near and dear to me for various reasons. This is not the complete list of Native links that I have on my computer, some of the links are very specific to my various interests. The list below is a general overview of the following topics: History, Culture and Resource Links; Organizations; News & Media Outlets; Government Links; and a couple of general links to Native websites in Canada.

Fantastic idea: The web is so full of crap, sometimes it's difficult (and confusing) to find the right resources. I am curious about your addition of Wiki as an "approved" site. Are you now worried of people posting incorrect information? Keep up the good fight!

You do your homework, Kawlija! I am constantly reminded of things that happened in the past as I am near Alcatraz (I'm sure you know the story) - I haven't ever said anything about Native Americans or your blog because this is such a touchy subject. I applaud your consistent and patient effort to raise awareness and hope that someday we won't think of Native Americans as people who are alcoholics that live in depressing reservations in the middle of nowhere. Everyone is equal under God... AND the Constitution.
