You know your commute sucks...

when the 1 hour and 15 minutes it took you to get to work is a personal record. 

When you get up earlier and earlier only to be foiled by acts of God and human stupidity.  Yesterday's 2 hour fiasco was supplied by a giant 76 ball sign landing in the freeway.  Not the antenna ball, the 10ft+ sign that goes on top of a 30' pole to tell drivers that there's gas nearby.  In the freeway.

So on the way home last night, I take a sneaky route through downtown, only to be foiled by a mass exodus of Yuppie Lemmings rolling out of high-rise offices while I try to sneak through.  I was cool though, still trying to find a semi-quick route, so I knew it may be a total failure.

I found that if you take Figueroa east from 79th to about the USC campus, the hookers work in broad daylight.

New route this afternoon.....30 miles of misery.
