Galaga (NES): I played this years ago as a rental. It looks great and sounds great. It plays well, but there's something about it that is just easier than the arcade. I love the Namco museum games versions, they're pretty faithful. Then again, renting the game when it first came out was $3, so it's $5 now doesn't seem bad.
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle (Genesis). This was one of my first mistake-buys. I don't get the Kidd-love. I tried this again on GameTap. If you value your sanity, turn the sound down. The theme music is the most maddening thing. The game was never "tight" like good software should be. The punch and kick moves are awkward. To top it off, the rock-paper-scissors is the worst game I've ever played in a videogame. Winning doesn't get you very much. And for the boss battle to be a rock-paper-scissors? Frustrating. There are special items you can win, like "mind reading." It does you no good, however, because the computer is reading your mind, too. What can I say, I'm opinionated against this game.
Bravoman (TurboGrafX 16). I know nothing of this game. Zip. The VC store did not give me enough information, either.
I guess I'll just stick to "Dragon's Curse." I think Wonderboy could beat up Alex Kidd in a fight, as long as it's not rock-paper-scissors.
