Got back into Crackdown seeing as I returned both RB6 and Cars. In RB6 I killed the female enemy then was tasked with disarming/whatever to a missle on the roof. Well, the game gave me no instructions nor manner to get to the roof. So I tried some Cars, quickly got disappointed in that and went back to RB6. When I went back the game didn't recognize I killed the enemy leader, but wouldn't let me tell my two idiot partners to hack the door controls. So, the game just times out and says I lose. Grrr. It was tempting to snap the disc before sending it back, but Gamefly would just make me pay for it instead of the developers.
Other things...Hmm... My flickr account has been approved, so y'all are welcome to browse...
Hmm. South Florida has gone from phase one (water 3-4 times per week, please) to phase two water restrictions (water when we tell you, how we tell you, and for as short a time as possible or the kittens & puppies die!). This is, in turn, is due to some goof in SFWM (SouthFloridaWaterMismanagement) lowering the level in Lake Okeechobee (map), as well as continued over-development (sure, go build another #!*#&%#! golf course!) causing reseources (water) to become stressed. Then came our annual drought. Well, given another month and a half and we'll be in hurricane season, and we usually get one or two close calls early.
In case anybody missed it, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis have started up again. If I remember correctly, these episodes should wrap-up SG1. I was sort-of regaining interest in the show, but now I don't care as it is being cancelled. Altantis is still an interesting show and it'll be good to get back into it.
And writing about shows to get back into, Eureka has been renewed and will start shooting a second season this summer. I guess the new episodes might air in early 2008. Somebody at SciFi needs to be smacked around for all the foot dragging. Writing about somebody needing a good beat down, ComedyCentral executives are still in limbo-lane regarding Drawn Together. DT is one seriously funny show, and I will not be happy if it is cancelled. It makes Family Guy look tame (and FG makes The Simpons look tame, etc.) Moving on from animated shows, another good show, The Closer, is set to air another season in starting in June. At least I hope it won't be another 'teaser' episode like we got in December.
Enough writing, time to get back to Crackdown...
