Shared on Sun, 04/15/2007 - 21:38He turns 11 tomorrow. I'm feeling really strange- I don't like that 10+ years have gone by and it feels like yesterday when I was freaking out about how small he was. He was 6 weeks preemie and weighed in at 4lbs 5oz. He was never on a respirator, and only took a week or so to get the suckle reflex going. He's been a trooper since birth. Now he's 11 and the best thing that ever happened to me. He lives with me, shares game addiction with me, and has an awesome sense of humor.
We planned to take him and his buddies to a local mini-golf/arcade place, but it's Spring Break and everyone has plans. So we postponed the big bash and took hom to Dave & Busters, where the wife and the boy racked up 3,917 tickets. Yup, nearly 4k, enough to get a sweatshirt or some serious swag. He got a r/c car and a huge ball. And of course, Dad had to cart it back out to the car. Good Stuff.
We got home and one of the neighbor boys came over and we had ice cream cake and opened a few presents. One of which was Guitar Hero II for PS2.
So all you guys can quit bugging me about padding my gamerpoints by letting my son kick Laid to Rest's ass on Expert!
Have a great week!
