Like I mentioned in my last entry, I had the house to myself Friday night and Saturday morning.  I had planned a late night of gaming.  I rush home Friday and what do I discover?  My internet isn't working.  I have troubles every now and then.  I went to unplug the modem to reset it.  This usually fixes everything.  No luck.  I try this several different times each time allowing it to be unplugged for longer and longer.  I finally break down and call.  For fifteen minutes the guy on the line tries different things.  At twenty minutes on the line, he asks for my zip code again.  Then he tells me that The system is down because they are switching everything over from Adelphia to Comcast.  Well that's just nice.  Could he not have told me that twenty minutes ago when he first asked for my zip code?  Could they not have warned anybody about this with an email?  I asked him how long it would be out.  He said for several days.  I asked him if my account would be credited for this outage.  He proceeded to go into a long story about how I was not going to get one so I hung up on him.   &*#@%*.

Yeah its a common occurence with me reguarding these issues every now then as well. You dont get a notice untill after the fact.

we had the same problem with comcast..our internet and cable service would just go out for no reason...I hate those fuckers!!! I( hope you have better luck than I did..we finally got fed up and switched yo Verizon Fios...then we moved and now we just have verizon dsl.....
