Forza Motorsport 2 is nearing release on Xbox360, I think.  I tried the demo, and it is very nice.  Race fans, try it out.  Something that is both good and bad is that it plays exactly like the original Forza Motorsport.  The ability to turn off accelaration lines, brake lines, or both is very welcome.  I got tired of these guidelines real fast.  On the first game, I started with them, and then couldn't quit.  I strongly recommend turning them off if you've played Gran Tourismo or Forza one.  Then there was one little itty bitty problem.  Jaggies.  That's right, the Ridge Racer V lack of anti-aliasing from the PS2 launch are back (RRV is Namco/Bandai IP, while Forza 2 is Microsoft IP).  As far as I can tell, it's only the cars that are jaggy.  I'm crossing my fingers that this was the last bit being added.

All of this discussion is moot, however, since I have had mine reserved on Amazon since February.  There are new features including selling your custom cars, painting your car with greater detail.  I think the car trading will be for in-game currency, just like Test Drive Unlimited.  The first Forza brought out the most amazing paint jobs, I expect more this time around, people!  The damage modeling is nice, as well as the glowing disc brakes.  Drive carefully.

Yes, I have my reservation out a while now, for the limited collector's edition. I have a beef with the controller, it makes your car feel like driving on ice, while forza classic was a lot more grippy. I have the wireless wheel, so I'm guessing that this time around the people with a wheel will have a distinct advantage over the controller users.
