Four Aces No Draw in Klondike

One of the Soltrio achievements is to place all four Aces on the foundation without dealing from the stock pile. Because you can quit games and start over with 4 button presses, it's not too daunting. Then I worked out the odds that this will happen. I didn't predict the probability of placing four Aces on the foundations, but rather the probability that all four aces will be in the Tableau. 8% of the time, you will deal all four Aces. The other 92% of the time, the achievement is impossible. Consider that only a fraction of the remaining possible deals will have all four Aces playable through building. It becomes a semi-rare event.

And for those trying to beat Klondike in one minute, I recommend you place auto-play "On," where the computer will play cards when it is safe to do so. The default is "off," making it harder to spot obvious plays. I also recommend making the animation "Fastest." It improves the movement speed slightly.

EDIT June 1st, 2007:   Once I get that 1-min achievement, I'm turning autoplay off.  Autoplay takes a lot of the gameplay out!
