Storm

We had a major storm here a couple of nights ago. I had my Trittons on, so I couldn't hear anything but GOW. The TV starts flickering, then I can actually HEAR the wind and rain with the headsets on. I jumped up, unplugged the 360 (priorities), and ran out side in my drawers and a t-shirt. As many know, I live in the country, so I don't get arrested for that, peeing off the back porch, etc. I ran back in, put on my pants and a heavy hunting coat, and ran ran back out because I had a truck load of stuff from my business. I had to fight the wind to get to the truck, and a tarp was out of the question. So I unload the back of the truck, and I'm thinkin',"How ironic, I'm gonna die in a tornado." I really thought that was what was coming.

The next morning, I go outside, and the three, OLD metal lawn chairs on my porch had blown into the yard, and there was debris everywhere. The dog kennel had the major part of a big tree on top of it. If it had been a tornado, damage would have been much worse, but it was one heck of a storm. Interrupted my game, too. Dog wasn't very happy about it either. I think he was just as shaken up as I was.
