Not once but twice tonight!!! First, we had some bad storms here earlier this evening and our cable (internet) went out.  But But.... the clan tourney's at 9:00pm!?!  What am I going to DO?? *Whew* it came back up around 8:45pm! Hooray!  Then, I heard Jonny in the other room already playing with some of our clanmates, so I went to get on my xbox. But... IT WOULDN'T TURN ON! CRAP! It either pooped out on me, or the storm got it! Son of a.....oh wait. Looks like the power surges tripped the breaker on it- those replacement power things that we had to get from Microsoft after people's xboxes started catching fire years ago caught the surge.  I hit "reset" and voila! I get to play with my clannies tonight! Hooray!
Now if I could just get rid of this stupid migraine that's going on 6 days old!!! View Image

Glad to see you made it!\r \r Coke is good for migraines. Coca-cola, that is. Take a bunch of tylenol and drink Coke.

Good news, sorry about the migraine. :(\r \r My old boss used to get migraines so bad he would vomit-ugh! He took red dyes and nitrates out of his diet and found some focus/meditation exercises that he would do when they started coming on. Worked very well for him.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with these headaches since high school. I have been through a number of meds, but the only ones that \"work\" just put me to sleep and I hate losing so much time & feeling crappy with the sleepy pills.

Flapjaxx,\r I live in the same area and when I got home from work last night I was fearing the worst after seeing all of the branches down in my yard and neigborhood.. After last years tornado I'm a bit gun shy. Glad to hear you're OK!\r

Those pancakes look so damn tasty! \r \r I hate having to rely on a tenuous internet connection. Someday they will be more reliable.

@Sandshark- I never have and never will, but thanks anyway! ;)\r \r @Dawnfades- thanks- glad it was only branches down & nothing more serious!\r \r @Enemy- nope. I don't drink coffee and haven't had any tea in over a week. (I only drink a hot tea on the weekend mornings.) Salt used to bring on these headaches, so I had to cut back on that. Nowadays salt doesn't seem to bother me as much. Sometimes I think it's just stress related. \r \r @BT- Maybe I need some pancakes!
