Shared on Fri, 07/13/2007 - 14:15It's been a while since I've blogged. I went through a phase without my 360 for about a month (3 red lights) and I find that when I'm not able to game, I don't get particularly excited reading about other people who are gaming.
On the training front, I decided this week that besides working out at lunch (weights/cardio), I was going to start running. I haven't run since college, which was 20 years ago. My neighbor and I have agreed to meet outside at 6am each day. We started on Tuesday and the circuit we run through our very hilly neighborhood is 3 miles. I'm pretty damn sore, and my average pace per mile was 1 minute worse today than on Tuesday when I was all full of "piss and vinegar", but I'm already down 2.5 lbs without altering my diet. I just keep telling myself that the pain I'm feeling is the fat leaving my body...
