Shared on Tue, 07/17/2007 - 08:53I set up my 32" Vizio TV yesterday. Before I forget to mention it, the customer service these people provide is unreal. I had some difficulties getting the thing set up (understatement), so I called technical support. A very patient young lady spent at least twenty minutes with me, walking me through, step by step. I asked her to forward me to a supervisor so I could report her efforts. I don't do that unless warranted. After dealing with Microsoft, Dell, and others, it was a total surprise. Imagine that, tech support that doesn't make you feel like an idiot.
After setting it up, I played a round of that new arcade game with the castles, monastaries, etc. I can't remember the name, and I don't want to look it up. (-: Holy Christmas, it was like a new game altogether! Last night during the first couple of rounds of Gears, I found myself "sightseeing". I saw things I had never noticed before. Colors, character details, etc.
I know it's just a material thing, but for a material thing, WOW! Based on my experience so far, Vizio is the way to go. I did a lot of research and consulted with some of you guys before I bought this. It's much better than I had hoped for.
On a different note, the rains are coming again. It's a blessing, but man, we are tired of it here in Central Texas. I paint a lot of furniture for my shops with a power sprayer, and that comes to a halt. I'm way behind, but it gives me an excuse to play with my new toy.
Happy Tuesday, and see you online!
