We got there around 10pm and had a few Beams and Coke. Last call was around 11pm, and somehow we didn't leave the bar until 1am. The Bartender kept feeding us drinks (for free) after she found out we were active duty army and down for the ride. Apparently her father rides as well.
The next day, feeling pretty beat down, we ride over to the Harley shop and there are already about 3,000 people there. We stage our bikes and register for the ride and walk around a bit looking at bikes and people and generally just hanging out. The ride went well, overall there were about 4,000 riders and even with the huge amount of traffic it came off without a hitch. Got back to the shop and watched a Led Zep tribute band called "No Quarter" play for a while and decided to leave. It was getting dark with rain clouds and we wanted to beat the water. Rode back to Bellingham and proceeded to immediatly pass out on the couch.
Just a few of the bikes at the ride.
