Xbox Live Headset Advice

So, I had the old green Halo 2 headset from Plantronics for my original xbox and really liked it. Unfortunately, a small piece that holds the earpiece in place broke.  View Image

I bought the Plantronics white version for the 360 back when I first picked up the 360, and while the design is similar, the earpiece is awful. It really hurts after awhile. I am thinking about getting a different one, but there are not many to choose from, at least in the local stores. I like the idea of a wireless one, but I have heard mixed reviews and have some friends who don't care for the wireless headset too much.

So, if any of you bought a different headset and really like, please let me know. Thanks!!!

Good luck...I think there are good headsets out there if you want ALL your sound to come through them. But if you just want voice - it's slim pickins. I use the wireless and besides the occasional reset, it works well.

The trittons are awesome. I got over the whole wired thing when I heard them. well worth the money. Mine came with a rebate, check out either Newegg or Tiger direct. Can't remeber which had the rebate form. But def worth the money spent.

Wow, those are some badonka-donk sized ear covers. Dont your ears get hot?!?

Heat never bothers me. Once you hear the game through those things, you're hooked. You can actually hear in which direction things are approaching.

yeah they are good, true 5.0 surround sound. really nice.
