ZZZTTTT!!

I had a pretty interesting day today, it all started when a press operator asked me to help him reconnect his press sheeter back up to his console.Well I have done this many times and never had a problem.Until today, there are two connections to do and thats it.The first one was really easy and took me about two secs and it was done.The other one was a pain in the ass, it has a false plug so that the press will jog forward when the sheeter is separated from the press.This bitch was stuck so I had to get a little physical with it and managed to get lose.Only after it shocked the piss out of me.So I waited till the press operator to come back from the back and told him what happened and said he could get it out.So he laid down on his side and touched it and his legs were kicking in the air like he was possessed and let go of it really quick.I couldn't help but laugh at him, he griped at me, then I said lets go get the maintance man.So he went to the back and told him what it was doing and out he comes.He started to reach down there and remove it, and thought twice.He told us "I'm not going to touch it until the power has been disconnected.", well he went to the disconnect box and turned the switch off.Walks back over there and then bent down to remove it and got the shock of his life also.Needless to say I laughed at this as well and just happened to notice that the console was still powered up.

Well I told him about the console being powered up and he looked a little confused and walked back around to the disconnect box and opened up the panel and noticed that wasn't connected to the actual disconnect properly.So he managed to get it disconnected properly and and remove it without a problem after that.But all in all we all had a good laugh at the press operators expense.
