Fun at the health food store

Now that I'm getting a bit of religion again about my training and diet, I'm finding that I periodically need to make trips to the health food / organic grocery store.  The one by where I live seems to employ only militant vegetarian enviromentalist hippies.  Not that I have a problem with their lifestyle choice, because I don't.  But don't give me the hairy eyeball and a condescending sigh just because I didn't bring my own bio-degradeable bag for my groceries.  It's not like I just clubbed a baby seal.  And if I did, I'd at least be environmentally conscious enough about it that I'd make a grocery bag out of the little guy.

Next time I go in there, I'll have to ask, "Where's the butcher counter in this place?  I need a couple of pounds of veal."

I think most health food stores are like that...Vegan snobs. Not that all vegans are snobs...but you know, you get it.

You should roll up on a Hummer, eating a Big Mac out of a Styrofoam box, and bring along a plastic bag for each fruit, with a T-shirt with Cartman yelling "Die Hippies".

I stay away from most health food stores. Too expensive and snotty attitudes.

That's why I hate going to Whole Foods. Love some of the stuff but not worth the attitude. Started going to Trader Joes-everyone is laid back and the prices are a lot better.
