Erica is crawling. It just happens so fast! One day she is rolling around, then she got up on her hands and knees and a week and a half later she is up and crawling. Very scary stuff. Good part is she naps much easier now.

I am up and running on xbox: lovin it! Waiting for Two Worlds so that I can finally see what a multi player game is like.

I have a few books on the go right now. Mainly Christian stuff. My spirit is thirsty: it's been a while since I devoted energy to my relationsip with God. With Erica, church is sometimes not a go: if she isn't ready to go, we don't go. So in that case I am trying my hand at doing more reading. I am in the middle (OK very early stages of) of a biblical handbook and the Bible itself. The handbook expalins the story, the times, the theology, and the Bible is, well, the Bible. I have them both open at the same time: it's like studying.  Very satisfying, and it's also made me realize how much I missed school and studying.  You know: learning something that is hard. Anyone else a nerd like me?

Its sad, when they hit those milestones the first time. Kind of exciting but sad to know this is the beginning of their independence.

Oh yeah...J Cat sometimes I read the bible, sometimes I just find versus that I want for whatever reason that day but when I study the bible...I break out the Strong's Concordance (really big book) and look up words in Hebrew and Aramaic...just to get nuances of meaning I miss in the English. When I had my first baby girl, she was a just a wee thing when we took her to the first 'service' a managed to get back to, it was an Easter service and it was a huge church where they were doing the reenactment of the Cruicifiction and Resurection. Well, we got about a third of the way the service when I got a 'page'. I go back to my adorable baby and she has had a 'poopie'. OK, no problem, I will clean the poopie. Her poop is still coming out in a partially solid, mostly syrupy liquid yellow form that very young breast fed babies do and my daughter seems to have copious amounts of it (now at 16 she is still sometimes 'full of it' but thats another discussion). I decide I am going to feed her while I am here anyway and while I am doing that she has her encore. And just like like the grand finale of a fireworks display what an enore it was. She went through her fresh diaper and onto her adorable little easter outfit and kept on trucking right on my lap on my adorable easter outfit. A Shout wipe does not work on this amazing wonder of nature, let me tell you. I had a nursery worker go get my husband while I changed her into a backup outfit and church services waited another three or so weeks until little miss explosive poppy britches got more regular. Have fun with the baby, see ya in Two Worlds!
