Working at a University during this time of the year sucks.  We get roughly 10,000 students moving on campus, and probably half or so are freshmen.  I know this is more than likely your first experience away from home, i know it can be scary but you should be grown up enough to realize that if a shower drain is clogged and you keep using it you will flood your dorm room.  I can't even count how many times I have taken a call for someone saying that they have a light that is not working in their room just to have it be a light switch that they have not turned on.  I was troubleshooting with a girl about her internet connection and asked if she had a solid link light on her cable  modem, she said she did.  I then asked her if any other lights were lit up and she said they all were, they were all SOLID BLACK.  Sad thing is that she was dead serious, its frightening that this generation coming up that has had cell phones and every other type of electrical device is sometimes so oblivious to the obvious.  Its like they need a computer to perform "life check" for them (instead of spell check ).  Thank god the call volume drops back down to normal in just a few weeks.

If anyone out their is on the fence about BioShock GO BUY IT RIGHT NOW!  The last time I played for hours on end was on emergence day and before that H2.  This is easily a contender for game of the year, and would probably win if so many other AAA titles weren't slated for release as well.  I think this just replaced Oblivion as my favorite SP game!
And if September wasn't far enough away already, with H3 and all, I just sent my vacation request in for Sept. 22nd til the 30th.  Its been almost 17 months since I last had a vacation  and damn its way overdue.  Just a coincidence that its when H3 comes out , the g/f doesn't need to know that!
