Shared on Sun, 09/02/2007 - 14:27If you noticed (and I'm sure a lot of you did) the site was down from 2am central to about 11:30 this morning due to a major hardware failure on our dedicated server. Turns out the brand new RAM we purchased completely died on us and the hardware team has been scrambling ever since. Lucky for us it is the weekend and many of you are off playing games or chillin with your families.
At this time the server is operating at only about Half the speed while we work on getting the new RAM modules in. Everything should be back to normal when you go back to work on Tuesday. So don't worry, you wont actually have to do any work. ;)
Again, sorry about that. Just thank the lord it wasn't a hard drive failure. :|
