I know most of the gamers on the site have been waiting with baited breath & pockets full 'o cash for the announcements from today's Apple event. So here is a brief rundown...

- Shuffle getting new colors

- New 'fatty' nano

-- ships with (or available) three (3) games
--- Sudoku, Vortex and ?

- Current iPods are now 'classic' lineup
-- 80gb @ $249
-- 160gb @ $349
-- new interface

- iPod Touch (iTouch)
-- iPhone without the cell phone
-- 8gb & 16gb flash
-- Wifi, browser and such

- iPhone 8gb model now $399 ($200 drop)

- Wifi partnership with Starbucks for iTunes store & Starbuck music purchases.

Guess I'll wait for a review of these before I make any purchase(s). The 160gb iPod 'classic' is a great size, except for the screen. The iTouch would be good, but only has 16gb of storage. The iPhone looks very tempting now that the price is dropping. Oh, well, I've got time...
