Shared on Thu, 09/06/2007 - 23:09I assume that more than several 2o2p members tuned into the start of the NFL season tonight which leads me to ask was anybody else saying WTF to themselves while watching that dreadful pre-game season opening kickoff??? Since when does NFL Football equal Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill and John Mellencamp??? Plus all the other crap they had on and off the field - WTF??? That was one sad sorry state of events and has caused me to hang my head in shame to be a football fan.
Football if it equals anything is rock and hip-hop. I am in no way a hip-hop fan but it's a true statement that is what it is. Football is NOT country, pop or aging MOR recording artists!!! Let's hope this is the last low point of the season (though I am a Vikings fan so I will to live through many) until the great joke known as the Super Bowl comes at the end of the year.
