The good news - Bioshock sequels are being planned (yea!). The bad news - every two years (boo!). C'mon people, I don't want a crap sequel, but every two years?! Boooooo!
Ok, more good news - Metacritic says statistics show Bioshock is more highly rated than Gears of War. I find that a bit unbelievable. Bioshock is a great game, I loved playing it, but it is only single player with multiple difficulties. Gears is a all that plus multi-player with maps and possibly other add-ons. The stats must be 'off' somewhat.
And the unrelated - Starting today the Orange Box will be available for pre-order. In case anyone forgot, the Orange Box is the massive collective goodness of Half-Life 2, HL2 episodes 1 & 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Wow! I have been waiting forever to play another Team Fortress match. That was a helluva bunch of fun. Good times. At any rate, pre-order and get 10% off the game as well as a key for the TF2 beta to be released 17-Sep. Cool! Now all I need is a PC that is capable of playing these games...
...whoa, the Orange Box will be available for the PC and 360 (& something called a 'ps3'...is Atari trying to come back again?). Awesomely cool!
