It's strange that I have better relationships within this community then I do in the actual community I live in. Regardless, I'm glad I'm here and just one more reason to be glad came to the forefront again last night.
Without getting into any details, my family has been struggling to find a way to deal with an issue that has come to a head recently. There are a few ways to deal with the issue and it's been overwhelming to try and figure out the best path. Last night has I jumped on XBL I noticed that Teufel was on and it hit me that he might have some insight regarding one of our issues. I hit him up for a private chat and for the next 20 minutes he graciously listened to my dilemma and provided tons of insight that I might otherwise never have gotten.
What is great about this, to me, is that Teuf has been on my FL for a loooong time, yet we rarely get a chance to play the same games together. For one reason or another we just seem to end up in different groups. I wouldn't be surprised or upset if he had removed me from his FL to make space for someone else. Yet, despite that, he was more then willing to allow me to share my burden and advise me on every question I had.
Tuefel, I can't thank you enough for your time and advise. People like you are what makes this site great and what makes me glad to know that we can be more then just gamer tags. You put the Friend in Friends List.
