Unfortunately the whole antenna thing never worked. For some reason we can't get any signal. Not even radio. Not even with a powered outside antenna or powered indoor antenna.
Whatever.
The good news is we do not miss television. We watch all the shows we want to on netflix. Sure it's all a season late, but we can watch it all at once without any commercials. People tell me cable + dvr is the same as neflix, but the truth is they still are watching LOST over a 6 month period and I am watching in 10 days :)
The other thing i have figured out is networks are starting to stream a lot of TV. I am watching a hilarious show on abc.com called Knights of Prosperity. It scales up great to full screen on my laptop and has 2 :30 second commercials. It's pretty funny. They even have some internet only shows. I saw NBC also has some shows, but none I care to watch at the moment.
Anyway, I thought I would share some media saving tips. Cable is a good $45-$90 a month and netflix is under $20 for 3 movies. With videogames you won't have time for much more TV anyway :)
