Do You Remember...

...when Kelly McGillis was the hottest jet-fighter expert person you had ever seen and Tom Cruise wasn't creepy?

TopGun hit the screen in '86 and was simply awesome. I can still hear that Kenny Loggins crap ringing in my ear..."Danger Zone"
Yeah, you remember. Good stuff.

...when Dexy's Midnight Runners released Too-Rye-Ay?

The album was released in '82 and for weeks that's all you saw on MTV, when MTV was a Music Television Network...remember?
The song about Eileen hit number one and these homeless looking people with violins crowded the street wearing overalls. It was a refreshing change from Duran Duran.
Of course, you remember.

...when Dungeons & Dragons met Saturday morning cartoons?

The series launched in '83 and lasted for 2 years. Hank, the Ranger; Eric, the Cavalier; Diana, the Acrobat; Presto, the Magician; Sheila, the Thief (redhead hottie); Bobby, the Barbarian; Dungeon Master; Venger; Tiamat; and that stupid Unicorn.
How could you forget?

...when you could buy the world a Coke...coz they were a quarter each?

This jazzed aired in '84 and rocked by putting the jingle in jingle. Sing along.
I'll remember this one for you.

sorry man...It is not the same thing, but I make and maintain databases...and when you think you have the layout just perfect, and extremely easy to use, only to sit down with the end users and have them say...uh..can you change this, do that...and it actually makes the product clunky and harder to use...\r \r Go pick up AC and imagine you are shanking the bad people!!!

further torment: AC isn't available here until tomorrow...

Shame, but I think it not because she went crazy and bent out of shape, I just think she was passed her prime. That is why I only date girls between 18- and 21 years of age. (If my wife is looking at this post; please honey give me a pillow next time I get sent to the couch).

Prime? Michelle Pfeiffer is 50 and still smok'n.
E

Well thats the thing, some women never get past their prime. But to be wise and have such foresight look at the girls mother, it's basically 85% probability she will end up looking like that.
