I love living somewhere where the weather is really unpredictable. It’s snowing right now… J In Calgary you can get all four seasons in one day sometimes.

It’s getting closer, I can feel it. The big H is just around the corner. I am quietly anticipating the arrival of the game. I will count the remaining days and hours until it arrives. I will endure the wait in line. I want to be out of there as quickly as possible, which means arriving early to get a spot near the front of the line. My order was paid in full many months ago, so I will be in the fast track line. But really the moment I am anticipating the most is when the Bungie logo flashes on the screen with the familiar intro music, and then the blue on blue menu screen flashes up and the choral background menu music starts. That’s when it will be worth the wait, that little shiver down the spine. Like an old friend returning from an extended leave of absence. If I could sum up the whole Halo experience for me it would be in the music.
