I Need Advice

Last Thursday I called xbox about the repairs of my 360. They said it would be shipped back to me by the end of last week. I call back yesterday and it is still being repaired. The agent told me to call back today. I called back today just a little upset, I get the same run around. So I ask to speak to a supervisor and ask for some compensation for this misleading information. I explained to the supervisor that Halo 3 was being released the 25th, my birthday was the 27th, and I was invited to a LAN party on the 28th. No remorse from the supervisor he just says he can't do anything for me. I told him that I know of people getting "classic" 360 games and microsoft points in situations like this. He then informes me that ON ONE can give me ANY compensation, and that I would just have to live with it.

It's there anything I can do? I understand that it takes time to fix something broken, but I had a agent tell me that it would begin the shipping back to me last week.

Well, you could always buy a core unit as a backup. My 360 died last Thursday, and that's what I did. I refuse to miss Halo 3 because of shoddy design. I'm still waiting on my coffin to arrive.

Sorry to hear your bad luck. As for the Agents I hope you have names and times and dates. If you do have these you can write a letter to Microsoft. Not sure how much that would do, but it is wrong for them to say one thing and do another thing. Good Luck.
