Life is sort of funny

My wife and I work many hours and give up time together to do be good at our jobs. She manages a large store that specializes in crystal, and I am an airline crew controller. Years of learning how to sell and balance books for her. Years of military, college and actually flying for the airlines for me. And Sunday we got the call!

This is it, the bigs baby! Someone sees that we rule and are going to pay us fat cash!

Nope, our dog was named Pet of the Week at PetSmart.

He gets a free day care, and a spa treatment. (I never knew there was such a thing as a dog spa!) And he gets his photo on the main wall, maybe on the calender if he is lucky. He also gets to be photographed with us as we parade his royal butt around for all his subjects.

My last dog, Dillon was a 105 pound lab that was an awesome duck hunting dog, as well as man's best friend. Before he past, Michele got to "walk" him a few times when we were dating. She might as well have been on skis as he pulled her around the yard. I admit he was one strong dog.

This dog, a 25 pound french bulldog could pull with all his might and you might notice if you were awake.`

What have I learned?

1> Never buy a dog that anyone thinks is cute. Ours is a French Bulldog

2> It is better to be lucky than good most of the time.

3> It pays to keep Momma happy!

See you all online.

Dude. Dogs rock. I'm on my second after my first unexpectedly passed. I wouldn't trade either of them for the world. So does 2o2pHALO, btw. ;)
