Shared on Thu, 10/04/2007 - 11:17I've been looking forward to playing PGR4 but didn't exactly rush out to get the first copy since H3 is so popular at the moment. Well, Silverbullet and Torture77 decided to spam me last night to let me know how great the game is so I decided to go out during lunch to pick up a copy. Apparently the game is sold out around town. I don't get this. The cost for the actual copies of the game is so minimal compared to the rest of the development that there's no reason to not print plenty of copies. It's as if the game developers don't really want people to play their games.
If I have to hear that stupid song for the new Ipod Nano I'm going to hurt something. 1..2..3..4.. shut your word hole already.
Recently the county has been cutting in a new 4 lane road through what was formally cornfields. This will be a great addition for me as it should help relieve some congestion and provide a more direct route home from work. Last Monday they finally opened that road. Sorta. You see they still have a couple more layers of blacktop to lay down. So, instead of taking a couple of more weeks to finish a road that no one was using at all, they open it early and then create new lane restrictions every day to keep everyone guessing where to go next. Plus we get the added bonus of kicking up loose blacktop pavement all over each other's cars. Apparently this is going to go on for the next 6-8 weeks. Does this seem like efficient use of time and tax payer money to you? And people want the government to take over health care. They can't even put a road in correctly.
The funniest new show I've seen this season so far is The Big Bang Theory. If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet, put it in your Tivo. Prison Break has started out pretty well this season as well. Also check out Reaper on the WB.
