Emotional response...

A thousand words. That is the what meaning can be attributed to a picture. The emotional response I am getting right now, the only words I can think of are Bush & Congress. The two responsible parties that are together the cause of this war, the cause of the deaths of +3000 soldiers and the cause of the deaths of uncountable civilians. But are they the actual responsible parties?  Maybe it is time for every voter to look in a mirror for the truly responsible parties. Maybe it is time that this photograph should be published along with a global apology.

"We the people of the United Stated of America would like to apologize to the peoples of the world and, in particular, the people of the nations of Iraq & Afghanistan for the wars that are occurring.  We would like to say that these wars are not our fault, as President Bush & the US Congress clearly made the decisions that have brought us to this point. But we are the people that voted and elected President Bush and the US Congress into the offices of government. Then seemingly without thinking, re-elected President Bush into office. It is apparent that the people don't want this war to continue, as less warmongering Congressmen have been elected into those offices. But as evident by the candidates for the next Presidential election demonstrate, we as a people cannot get behind any candidate that will try to remove our country from the wars to which it is engaged. At least within a reasonable time. We will await a response from the people of the nations of the world for guidance as how best to stop these wars and assist the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan to rebuild their countries and governments as they see fit."  

"So to the people of the nations of Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as to the peoples of other countries of the world, we the people do offer our heartfelt and sincere apologies. "
