Even though I technically have the day off, I need to organize the loads of hand-outs we received over the two weeks. Then I need to complete all of the outside assignments we were given, including finishing the 20 hour career self-assessment. Lastly, I need to sit down with the list of about a hundred behavioral interview questions ("Tell me about a time when...") and come up with responses to each of those.
I had a chat yesterday with a materials analyst at Rockwell who has also been through the layoff experience and went through Right Management. We had a long conversation about the culture at Rockwell and he looked up the job I'm targetting in their job system. He said "wow, that's a high level job. Those guys make good money. You'd be reporting to the V.P. and probably be one yourself soon". That wouldn't be such a bad deal, I'm thinking.
Here's the most recent drawing I did for Mark Kistler's new book. It's the last of the sphere exercises. I've seen his notes and it looks like the next few lessons deal with cubes (boxes, treasure chests, etc.). Hopefully he sends me some more lessons soon. Photobucket seems to be running really slowing this morning, so give it a second to load.
