Update on Portal Review

OMG!  I do not want to say anything that will take away from the experience of completing the game (for those that haven't already done so), but I will say that Testchamber 19 was one of the best single levels of any video game that I have ever played.  I had managed to shield myself from any potential spoilers, so the entire experience was a blast for me.  If you have soured on Portal for some reason, but haven't finished it, do yourself a favor and finish the basic game.

One of my minor complaints about Portal below was about the timing that is required.  However, after playing through the later levels, even I was able to adjust to the timing and I really didn't have much trouble in that regard.  It is a really solid game that needs to be experienced by everyone.  If you aren't interested in the other offerings in The Orange Box, please rent it and give Portal a try.  Since Portal isn't very long, you should have time to try some of the other games and you may find out that you like those more than you thought you would.
