Was reading some Arab papers for work and came across the classifieds.  There is a section titled "Matrimony"  Pretty amazing that this is still going on:

Marriage is still arranged in the Middle East and India. Many women still do not have a say in what goes on in their own lives. It's very sad and it's something that I wish would change.

Traditional marriages are still quite common elsewhere. And here for that matter. On of my employees has a 12yo and they already know who he will marry when he is 20.
