What work did you have done? I had to get a root canal recently. First one. In truth it didn't hurt. Had three one hour sessions every week, same tooth always. I think one of the reasons it didn't hurt is because I had a female doctor. Women's touch you know? Men are much more like butchers.

Im afraid to watch that video. I cant handle dentists. I have to take a Valium before I go so I dont run out screaming. Stitches, shots, needles you name it, I do fine with. But the sound of that drill makes me cry and hide.

I had a wisdom toothe extracted and I had it done under general anesthesia. There was no way I was going to be awake and listen to those sounds!

That happened to me once but I find out until I had college finals and was bitting like a shark when I was sleeping. Needless to say my tooth became so sensitive I had to numb it with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a valium.

I always do a little light excersing after the dentist numbs me. Seems like getting the heart rate up a bit works the numbness through the system a bit faster.

I've had that happen, took three visits to get things about right, and I still have a sensitive tooth.
