Checked on the repair status of my 360 and xbox shows a new serial number and UPS tracking number. So maybe I'll get my 360 returned this week or early next week. It is still kind of up in the air because UPS tracking claims the tracking number isn't in the system. You would think that UPS would have a nice well-built and maintained database, with fast and easy data entry and retrieval, but apparently that is not the case. Maybe there will be an updated entry tomorrow.
I just hope the next 360 has an improved HSF installed. I don't want to have to go through this again in another few weeks or months.
The new car is simple awesome! I feel like I've gone from iron-age to internet-age in one simple purchase. From a car with power-nothing to a car is power-everything and then some. So many doo-dads available to play with while driving it is somewhat distracting. Like the cruise-control - almost don't have to do anything (but pay attention). Then the instant MPG meter - more like a random number generator, but insanely distracting if you try to keep the numbers within a range (43-56 mpg @ 40mph?! yeah, dream-on!). Steering-wheel mounted audio controls! iPod interface! Radio with uploadable background images (coming soon - porno!). A tachometer (with an auto-tranny? pfft!) Simply Sweeeeeet!
The only thing wrong on the car is that one or more of the tires has a pressure difference to the other tires. Some owner PM should take car of that.
Things that suck...Bush is still president, the media is still claiming that Hillary is the Democratic Party candidate and all others suck (no, Hillary sucks, asshats!), TV writers are still on strike (better record and save TV shows because this looks to be a long one), gas prices are rising fast (one station around here already has regular @ $3.50 / gal) and there seems to be a slowdown in the blogs here at 2o2p.
