W00t: tomorrow night is date night. A real date, my first in 9.5 months. ! My in laws are heading into town, they have agreed to babysit while my man and I go out! We are just going to the local pub: have wings, chili nachos and Beer! And play trivia games. That is what we would do every Friday night before we got pregnant. We would just sit around with a pitcher and play "Mount Rushmore".

As you know Mount Rushmore has the faces of 4 of hte most important presidents of the time. Basically you say "What is your Mount Rushmore of..... (fill in the blank)". And the other person has to name your own personal 4 most important examples of that subject. For instance my Mount Rushmore of RPGs would be Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasty X, Mass Effect... and hmm... either Dungeon Master or Morrowind. And so on. Half the fun is saying why you would pick those 4. Sometimes we pick based on what is important to us, but usually we try to take into account the history of the Genre. For example, I hate tetris, but on a Mount Rushmore of casual games, could you leave it off?

So: in light of this major moment: I decided I would try the Mount Rushmore game with the good people of 202p.... To start off:

What is your Mount Rushmore of Television Sitcom Moments?

I have a few: but I want to keep it wide open.

Edit: It's also Christmas time, Twisted Caboose mentioned clicking on the top banner ads to send some $$ to Doodi. I always get ads for Robeez shoes. They are fricking adorable, and perfect for people with wee babies if you don't know what to get them.  The banner is right there: click on it.... get shopping done on line and out of the way!

Sitcom moments? Hmm. Was M.A.S.H considered a Sitcom? If so, then the last episode of M.A.S.H. was a moment for me. The first season of Seinfeld is another. The sexy Friend's episode when Rachel mounts Joey in the recliner but knees him in the balls. Lastly, would be the launch of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Honorable mention goes to SNL of the 80's. Sinead tearing up the pic of the Pope...this could go on forever.

"Is M.A.S.H. a sitcom?" is an epic battle with my husband and I. We have (fake) argumed about htis for years. I forget which side I am on, but it's opposite to him ;-) Moments: not whole seasons....

"Kramerica Industries" "And now *I'm* driving the bus" "Elaine, what are you doing here?" (all Seinfeld) "Fa-heee-tahs" - Friends The game doesn't translate so well to having to type out everything - if I gave the background on all of these my comment would be 50 lines long.
